A 350-pound calf is being raised by Ellie Laks and Jay Weiner inside their home. He was just 50 pounds and a week old when he was saved from a slaughterhouse, where sadly his mother met her fate. 

What do you do with a couple of puppies who have way too much energy? Let them run out the zoomies in the Upper Barnyard while everyone else is eating. Lewis and Sky had so much fun..

She was rescued with so many of her siblings and has outlived them all. Sunrise has arthritis and now needs to be in a wheelchair but she's still loving life at The Gentle Barn and gets treats, music, and story time. 

During the pandemic we have been busier than ever. Thanks to the community support of our farm animal sanctuary, we were able to say yes when we got these calls.
